Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain..
Shaverites have been doing the snow dance for two months now and hail is all we have accomplished--the snow has yet to fall. Shaver is in a misty cloud at the moment with gusty winds that moved the furniture on our deck...the kind of wind that wakes you up at night. Weather reports say that we may get snow as low as 6000 feet in elevation tonight and we are hoping their prediction is correct...but so far snow is falling at 8000 feet. We did not have a White Christmas, but we would certainly accept a White New Year's Eve.
